RULES

First off, if any of you have any questions. please do not hesitate to ask. You can get a hold of us by sending the group a note, or contacting one of the admins personally. Please do not spam the front page with questions and concerns, there is a specific journal for that. When messaging us, please have patience as we will try to get back with you as soon as possible.

Please be sure to be respectful to all the Admins, like you would any other person. We work hard to make this group fair and fun for all our members. If you are asked by an admin to do something, please be respectful and do it (if it is something that you suspect is wrongly asked of you, please contact the group, or personally note one of the admins). If we have to ask you multiple times, you will be warned. If the warning doesn't help, and you have been given sufficient warning, we will hold a group meeting. Worst case scenario, you will be kicked from the group and banned from ever joining again.

WE DO NOT TOLERATE HARASSMENT, DISRESPECT, AND BULLYING!
You will be given a warning and case by case scenarios will be reviewed. Cases may result in temporary bans up to permanent banning from the group. We will always take both sides into mind, and if it is not resolved peacefully, both members may be removed from the group, regardless of who was more right than the other.

If you have a problem with one admin, please contact another one about the issue. Please let them know if you want to remain anonymous.

Foul language needs to be kept to a minimum when possible. Some members do not enjoy the machine gunning of curse words every other sentence or so, and some members will be younger than others, or not enjoy it AT ALL. Please make sure you are aware of your cussing. You will be warned if it gets out of hand. We will also warn other younger members that this is an unrated group, so you may find things in it that are unregulated.

ART THEFT IS PROHIBITED If you are caught stealing others' work, tracing, using work that is not completely created by you, you will be permanently banned and all of your characters will be killed off! The ONLY exception to this is with your applications. It is greatly preferred you draw it yourself, but you will be allowed to use a base ONLY FOR YOUR APPLICATION, with the permission of the base owner!

If you use a base in your character application:
- You MUST have them comment on the app's comments, saying it is alright for you to use their work in your application
- You MUST state AT THE TOP OF YOUR APPLICATION that the base does not belong to you
- Bases will not be allowed for anything but applications!

All other things for the group MUST be your own personal art

This includes:
Bases
Linearts
Photo manipulations
Tracing

All art must be your own. However if you reference poses or anything from another artist, please provide credit or a reference for that artist! You can use their name, a link, or a screenshot as a reference!

Tracing is not the same as referencing, so please refrain from tracing as it will not be allowed!

Please do not start drama within the group. RP drama should stay RP drama and nonCOR drama should stay nonCOR drama. Also keep unnecessary drama out of RP situations if at all possible. Drama can be a lot of fun to play with, but don't go overboard.

Members cannot create major events! Only Admins can create major situations. Please keep your RPs clean and friendly. Characters can develop rivalry relationships but it needs to stay clean. Characters should not be fighting within there own districts. There may be some small spats, but in general, your characters should not be maiming each other AT ALL.

Any members caught breaking rules will be asked to correct it.

RP RULES

Please be kind to all members.

NO GOD-MODDING
If you don't know what God-modding is, get yerself edumacated!!

God-modding is giving your characters invulnerability toward other characters. This could be anything from unnatural abilities to absorb any hit and give back more, dodging everything, or even manipulating the situation so that others cannot do anything. It could be giving your character knowledge of information they SHOULD NOT know anything about, or even taking control of another person's character. These are all off limits. You must remain fair if you wish to participate in this group! Please keep your character realistic and give them boundaries.

When roleplaying use the action / reaction method. You must always give the other person time to react to a post.

Example:

Person 1:Maverick: He ran across the forest floor, his paws thudding on the ground. He snarled and lunged for the intruder, teeth bared.

Person 2:Talon: The wolf snarled back dodging to the side, doing his best to avoid the attack, and scratching sideways at Maverick's unprotected sides.

Person 1:Maverick: His teeth clamped shut as she narrowly missed the stranger, landing behind the wolf. The wolf's claws raked his side, making him suck in his breath. He slammed his front legs down and kicked backwards.

Person 2:Talon: The wolf turned to meet his attacker, having felt his claws scrape his side. Suddenly the dog's, back feet struck at him, slamming into the side of his head.

During battle, after 2 misses there must be a hit. This does not mean the hit has to be fatal or horrendously scarring, but please remember your character isn't invincible. You must try to be realistic, especially with your character's stats, whether they are a pup or apprentice, or depending on how experienced they are. It's no fun for one character to be receiving little, tiny scratches and to land every hit, while the other receives mortal wounds and is unable to land any, or very few, weak hits! Make it fun!

- Please do not reply to RP posts in the RP blogs. When you do that, it can make it a challenge to follow the RP. Please create a new post every time you interact.

- Please do not take anything personal when your characters interact with other. Like in real life, not everyone's character will like each other. People are simply playing out their character's personalities, and it can be a lot of fun to stay in character! A member could have a character that hates your character, but that doesn't mean they are personally attacking you! They are just "in character".

- We will be avoiding characters with matching names. If there is already a character in the group with a name that you want, you will have to pick a different one, no exceptions.

Please be sure to follow all the rules and don't forget to have fun!

On this note, let's talk about something we use in the group mentioned above

STRIKES

What are strikes?

Strikes are used to show activity in the group. We LOVE active members! You're what keeps our group's life running! However, there are times when we feel that we need to remove members who have become inactive, non-compliant, or non-responsive. Please be aware that we have a hiatus system! If you're having a difficult time being active, please let us know. Strikes will not be taken back once they are given. You must pay or wait for them to be removed. You must either pay 30-40 CP to remove character strikes, or wait 1 year for them to remove themselves
At 1 strike - costs 30 CP to remove a strike
At 2 strikes - costs 40 CP to remove a strike

** If you need to go on hiatus, please message an admin. They will place you on hiatus for 6 months from that day. After 6 months, they will check in with you and see if your hiatus needs renewal **

Special positions can NOT go on hiatus! You must demote your character, change their rank to gladiator/hunter/enforcer, and then request hiatus

NOTE: AT ANY TIME killing your character will put an automatic 6 month ban from adding any more characters to the group

- One Strike -
One strike is basically a slap on the wrist to let you know "HEY! We're watchin' you"
It won't roll off until 1 year after the day it is received, meaning if you don't keep up with the group, you may be on your way to a second one withing 3-6 months depending on when we do mandatory assignments
- You may be denied from having specialist positions -
- You also cannot move CP from this character to another character (you may move CP to this character) -

One strike for specialists, means that you will get a warning! If you receive another strike, your character will receive a forced demotion from their high rank! Don't let it happen! You are allowed to remove your strikes with 30 CP, but you have to ask for it, it will not happen unless you say something

- Two Strikes -
Two strikes is where things start getting a bit trickier!
If you receive a second strike, you will be unable to add another character to the group for 6 months from the day you receive the strike, and be unable to apply for specialist positions for 1 year with any character. Your current strikes will both accumulate together, meaning BOTH strikes will fall off 1 year from when received, regardless of how close your first one was to falling off
- You WILL be denied from having specialist positions for 1 year -
- You are not allowed to submit another character in the group for 6 months after the strike is gained -
- You are not allowed to move CP from this character to another of your characters (you are allowed to move CP to this character) -

If you do not wish to receive this strike, you can take the following steps to avoid it:

1. Complete the current round of mandatory assignments to the specifications provided on the most recent journal

2. (FOR SPECIALISTS) Voluntarily demote your character to be able to purchase a "skip" with 20 CP - You will be asked to place your character's status as guardian within 1 month's time

2. (FOR OTHER RANKS) purchase a "skip" with 20 CP

- If you decide to take the 2nd strike, you can remove one strike, at a later time, by paying 40 CP -

- Three Strikes -
At three strikes, yer out! Your character will be killed, and you will be placed on another 6 month ban from adding more characters to the group - You also cannot move CP from this character to another character
- You WILL be denied from having specialist positions for 1 year -
- You are not allowed to submit another character in the group for 6 months after the strike is gained -
- You are not allowed to move CP from this character to another of your characters (you are allowed to move CP to this character) -

- You will receive a 1 month grace period to save your character, but it will involve writing 1000 word story (no drawings) about your character surviving their "death" - You will be required to contact the admins about what that death is, or check the ANNOUNCEMENTS jounal - If you complete this, you will revive your character, but still have a 6 month ban on adding more characters to the group

- If your character dies, and you miss the grace period, they will lose any CP or other special items they have earned

- If your character dies, they will lose any CP or other special items they have earned -
(nothing can be transferred from your character if they hold any strikes)

If a character gets a strike death, or they are removed from the group, you will be placed on an automatic character ban from adding any other character to the group for 6 months - If you have added a character to the group within 6 months PRIOR to killing a character, all your current characters WILL RECEIVE 1 STRIKE if the admin team was not notified that this was your intention

At any point you hiatus your character and you have a strike, your strikes will FREEZE along with your character. This means whatever time is left on them will continue counting down once you end your hiatus in the group

If at any point we feel that you are trying to be dishonest with us, or find loopholes, your character submissions may be declined. We work to give members all kinds of opportunities to not get strikes, please be open and honest with us and we will be in kind to you. Best thing you can do is make sure you're completing assignments - We'd prefer everyone to enjoy the group as much as possible!}
